Yolande started playing the piano when she was 5 years old. Ever since then, she has loved music, and it’s been an important part of her life, just as it is for many others all over the world. Today, she maintains a private piano studio where she focuses on sharing her love of all types of music with her students. She has been teaching piano lessons to all ages and levels since 2001. Teaching piano lessons is my passion. I always find joy in seeing the excitement on a student's face when they learn to play a new song or master a difficult piece. It’s so rewarding to see students grow as musicians and create new friendships with each other. I enjoy teaching all types of music, from Classical to Pop, Rock, and Broadway show tunes. I have been teaching piano lessons for over 15 years now, and it never gets old!

1)Know your goals- Let’s make this very clear so you don't have to guess what type of class I am teaching based on the following sentences. I focus on helping my students develop an understanding and appreciation for different types of music as well as technique needed to play their favorite tunes while also teaching them proper keyboard skills, ear training and note reading.
